A Family Day, at the Aquarium…

Sunday, family day. No other way to put it. In our minds, it is a day to kick back and relax and enjoy our wonderful family.

So today we took the boys to the Florida Aquarium. It would have been terrific, except for the fact that there were 2 cruise ships pulled in to pick up new passengers for the next few days of voyage, and oddly enough, we didn’t have tickets. What’s up with that? So Daddy and I sat there, watching our boys play, while recalling memories of our 8day/7night honeymoon on a lovely cruise ship and then 2 years later we disembarked again on our first vacation without Ashton on another cruise for 6days/5nights. Memories.

See the cruise ship behind me and the boys? Yeah, how can you miss it?

We really did have a fabulous day. Ethan really enjoyed the water, but I have to say, he enjoyed this peanut butter and jelly sandwich much more…can you tell? Yeah, thought so.

As always, Ashton enjoyed climbing up on the pirate ship. ARGGGGGG!!!Once the boys were nice and cold, we changed clothes and went to look at all the fish. Now this was my favorite part. First we seen this beautiful owl, he is new to our Aquarium. (yes, he is real!)
Then my absolute favorite part was watching Ethan try to stand for as long as he could and look at all the gorgeous fishes. He loved it. And was in complete awww. I may even take the boys back tomorrow, because it was just so fascinating to watch Ethan checking everything out!
